I had decided.
After all it was
My body.
My plans.
My life.
And then He spoke to me. My eyes began to see……everywhere…so clearly…His plan for families. And my heart began to change. Not over night, but it changed.
Awareness.
Acceptance.
Trust.
And I became His vessel.
And it became His plan.
His Will.
And she came into My life, one year ago today.
And I am thankful every.single.day. that I chose His plan,
because I might just love her more
than mine.

I love Jeremiah 29:11, it’s my family’s life verse. I’ve been trying to remind myself of it when I question this 3rd completely unexpected gift. I often wonder what he is thinking lol! This has by far been the hardest job I’ve ever had and there are days (like yesterday) where I fail miserably. Thankful his mercy and grace are renewed every day. Love reading your blog!

I just posted last week, as I celebrated the 9th birthday of our Kaya Jade, how I had thought about MY rights, MY plans when I found out I was pregnant. After making an appointment, I drove home and literally felt the peace of God wash over me, telling me I could raise this child. At the time, I was FAAAAR from a believer, but in hindsight I know that peace of God that washes over you. He love me and my child when I was mocking Him and His believers. Amazing.
